Claudia Pinheiro
was born in Buenos Aires (Argentina) in 1960. She graduated from the College of Commerce in 1983 to begin her 10-year accounting career. She then changed the course of her life and turned to the press, working as a journalist for many years until she won the 1992 Billiad Press Prize. She has gone late in literary and artistic writing; She wrote many novels and plays, and wrote the screenplay for television. The novel “A Thief Among Us” was its first creative work in 2004, and in the same year it wrote the play “A Lot in the Fridge.” Some of her literary compositions have received major awards – such as: Claren Literary Award for her novel – Best Selling – “Widows of Thursday”, released by Al Arabi Publishing and Distribution in 2017, which was converted into a film with the same title in 2009, and also received the German Literary Award for Novel “Elena knows,” and the “Juana Ines de la Cruz” award for a novel “The Cracks of Jarar”, whose beautiful novel “Cle Ley”, published in Buenos Aires in 2006, which we presented to the Arab reader in January 2016, reached the final of the “Planeta” Award, with the highest sales in Argentina, Spain, and Germany. Turned into a film this year (2015) titled “TÚYA”, and “Crime in Buenos Aires” released by Al Arabi for publishing and distribution in 2019. The novel “Elena Knows”, which reached the World Poker Short List in 2022.
